Welcome to QueerRoute. By accessing or using our app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our services.
Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older to use QueerRoute. If you are under 18, you may only use the app with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement or have obtained the necessary guardian consent.
Community Safety Information — Disclaimer
QueerRoute provides "Community-Verified" safety ratings and venue information contributed by our users. While we strive to keep this information accurate and up to date, we make no guarantees regarding the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any safety data on the platform.
Users access venues and follow routes entirely at their own risk. QueerRoute is not liable for any incidents, harm, or losses that occur based on information provided in the app. Always use your own judgment and stay aware of your surroundings.
Subscriptions & Payments
QueerRoute offers two paid subscription tiers — Traveler ($7.99/month) and VIP ($9.99/month) — in addition to a free Explorer tier.
- All subscription fees are billed monthly and processed securely via Stripe.
- Subscriptions automatically renew each billing cycle unless cancelled.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.
- Pricing is subject to change with reasonable advance notice.
User Conduct
By using QueerRoute, you agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or harmful safety reports
- Harass, discriminate against, or harm other community members
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or misuse the platform
Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and materials on QueerRoute are owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. User-submitted content (such as safety reviews) remains yours, but you grant us a license to display and use it to operate the service.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of QueerRoute shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of QueerRoute after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
